Patients Role In Safety

At Illinois CancerCare, we encourage our patients and caregivers to take an active role in your care and that of your loved one. As a patient, you have both rights and responsibilities. If you have concerns about your care, please speak with your physician or nurse, or contact the Quality Assurance (QA) Department. If you are uncomfortable speaking directly with your provider, you may call the Patient Services line at 309-243-3456, and a member of the QA team will assist you in a way that is comfortable for you and your family.

Audit & Compliance

The Audit and Compliance Program at Illinois CancerCare monitors key processes and systems, identifies trends, and ensures compliance with established standards. Findings are reported to our medical peer review committee, QA committees, the Illinois CancerCare Physicians Group, and management teams.

The Compliance Coordinator oversees medical peer review and process improvement audits, while also reviewing selected risk management audits.

By using reliable data and continuous analysis, our program supports informed decisions that enhance patient care and benefit both patients and physicians.
